Hip-Hop Edutaiment & Over 600 youth attended the event. It was a huge success. This event clearly shows that there is a great need to educate and empower our youth to make healthy lifestyle choices. The event provided the platform for 43 youth to get HIV tested and due to time constraints over 100 youth were placed on a waiting list to be tested. Given these youth enthusiasm to be tested, we will work with Clara Barton High School to look at the possibility of offering HIV testing at the school. Together, we can continue to make a difference.

New York, NY March 5, 2007 - The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention along with the National Basketball Association NBA Cares Program, launched the Harlem Men’s Cancer Screening reception at the Hip Hop Culture Center. Over 700 attended the event.
